Fred Christensen / Ralph Johnson - 56th FG -
 

Hi,

I am looking for claim reports/documents stating that topace Fred Christensen and Ralph Johson, both of 56th FG, had 2 claims on 1 december 1943.

Claim 01.12.43 Lt. F.J. Christensen 56th FG 62nd Sqn. 1 - 0 - 0 Me 109G 12.12-40: S.E. Roermond
Claim 01.12.43 Capt. R.A. Johnson 56th FG 62nd Sqn. 0 - 0 - 1 Me 109G 12.12-40: S.E. Roermond

Can someone help me out???

The mission report for 1st Dec 1943 on page 299 and 300 of the partial 56th Operational records. ( Microfilm B0151) shows a claim of 3-0-0 for that mission.
Confirmed kills for Justus Foster and Dick Mudge of the 61st FS and Fred Christensen of the 62nd. No mention of a damaged claim by Ralph Johnson.
Dick Mudge's combat report for that day can be seen on the 56th website.
