KGr.126 He111
Hi guys
Perusing the WINGS PALETTE website I came across the following. Surely an error? He.111H Unit: KGr 126, Luftflotte 2 Serial: 1T+ES Brest, France. It was shot down on beach at ????gate, Kent, UK on 18th June 1940. Source: "Luftwaffe: Bomber Camouflage and Markings 1940 - Heinkel He.111, Junkers Ju.88, Dornier Do.17" text by Christopher F.Shores, compiled by Peter G.Cooksley and Richard Ward, Aircam Aviation Series No.S10, vol.1, Osprey Publishing Limited, England. Re: KGr.126 He111
Totally. 1T+EL crashed at Clacton 30 Apr 40. Definitely not from Brest which was still under French hands. 5J+FP crashed on the beach at Margate 19-20 Jun 40

Re: KGr.126 He111
The WINGS PALLETE website whilst being generally very good does have the odd glaring error here and there (which can lead to confusion)....its best used as a ready reckoner website which needs to be supported with additional research material...but on the whole I think its pretty good....Jules
