Thanks Ed. I heard this was coming.

Bartsch's previous two books, Doomed From The Start and December 8, 1941, McArthur's Pearl Harbor are mandatory reading for anyone interested in the early Pacific war.

Edward, I buy books from amazon for ages, and base on my experience, in the amazon world, the "ship within 2 to 4 weeks" acutally means "this book is not available yet, and I do not know when it will be available", only "in stock, ship within 24 hours" or "ship within 2-3 days" means they acutally have the book in their stock, though in this case, I would guess we have to wait up to 1 more week

Well, guess I got a little too optimistic after seeing that Amazon had just added the cover art to the web page and now lists the release date as July 23. But clearly they don't have any copies in stock.

I can verify that review copies from TAMU Press are arriving in peoples' mail boxes.
