6052* 2./KG 2 Fw W.Wetzel
For some time now I'm researching the airplanes that crashed in my village of Aalst-Waalre (just south of Eindhoven) in Holland.
Now I have a police report of a german airplane that made a crash landing, on 22-07-1943. Of the crew one member was badly injured and the rest lightly injured. The plane was severely damaged. Now using the dutch Verliesregister I found this to match the police report: T2688 43-07-22 Eindhoven (8km Z) Do217M-1 6052* 2./KG 2 Fw W.Wetzel Anyone anymore info on the plane, crew or anything else. Thanks, Ray |

Thanks,
The police report mentioned that there was probably trouble with one engine so I guess it must be this plane. Ray |
