Hello ,

On may 10th 1940 a Ju-88 from 8./LG1 flown by Fw Schade Ernst was shot down near Mons Belgium. The crew was taken POW.During the crossing of the Atlantic , the gunner , Gfr Heinrich Maibom fell overboard from the transport vessel and drowned !
Is there someone who has additional info on this ?
