Robert Koch

Hi

I would like to check if I have found some new losses and have picked just one for a test.

This loss is handwriten in an Intelligence file on 5.NJG 1 and I can't find it in the lists of Werner Koch or Michael Balss. The loss info gives the a/c type, serial, date, location and rest of crew.
The loss was on 6/10/44 at Peer.

Now in Kracker site there is a P Koch lost in Bf 110C-4 c/n 440130 on 6/10/44, it states 6./NJG 1.

A few lines later Kracker has Robert Koch POW 8/10/44 shot down at Peer. These are in fact the same person

To check if I have new data can the serial and other crew members be stated please.

There are several other losses, none of them in Koch, Balss or Kracker.

Regards

Tony

You just have to look in the right Balss book.

Hi

That's the one, I didn't realise there were 2 Balss books.

I will pass the other losses to "Red Star" to find out if any of these are new.

Thanks
