PANEL CLOCK ON MUSTANG I

Good evening,

I am looking for a picture of the clock which was installed on the dashboard of the first mustangs (Mustang I) initially delivered to the RAF.

Would somebody have a drawing or a Picture of this clock ?

or of the panelboard ?

Thanks guys.

Hi Gilles,

Attached a picture of the clock in the instrument panel of Mustang I AP212 of 268 Squadron.

Best wishes,

Thank you Hans, this is perfect.

I found one such clock on a crash site and I wanted to make sure that it was from a Mustang I: that's it.

But I understand that AP212 crashed in december 1942 (in Netherlands) ? How does happen you have a picture of a pristine equipment ?

Best regards

Hi Gilles,

Actually AP212 made a crashlanding, that's why the instrument panel was still in one piece when the picture was made.
