III/ZG 26 pilots: Fw Arnold Reiner, Fw Ferdinand Glanz, Richard Prang anyone knows anything about them?

Hi all

Hi,
had a Fw. Arno Reiner, flying 110 for the Luther Werke Braunschweig in 1943, later a
Ofw. Arno Reiner with JG7 in 1945, but nothing about Arnold Reiner.

In 1943 a Oberleutnant Ferdinand Glanz wounded with III./ZG 1

In August 1944 a Hauptmann Richard Prang killed, flying Bf 109 with 12./JG 76.

maybe the persons you looking for ?

We have nothing about the other fellows, but from the Kracker Archive:

Thank you
I am almost sure Ferdinand Glanz of III/ZG 1was one and the same guy with the one in ZG 26, because it seems he followed his 9/ZG 26 Staffel Kapitan Bohrt's same path from zg 26 to ZG 1, the latter himself eventually beeing killed on 1.09.1942(shot down, DOW 9.09.)
Did Glanz survive the war after beeing wounded?
Any idea the date Glanz was wounded?
Also, I am sure Reiner was the same as one flying in 7. Did he survive the war?

find no loss for Reiner, had a entry from January 19th 1945, plane damaged when take off, he was unhurt.
Same for Glanz, can´t find a loss after after he was wounded.

If they survived ? sorry don´t know.

Hi Doug,

11./Z.G. 26 existed since 06.1943 (in Eleusis aufgestellt), i think its first Staka was Oblt. Peter Habicht (i am not sure about him)
Thus Oblt. Richard Prang couldn`t be its Staffelkapitän
