Query: Bf-109E loss, Cap de la Hève, 05/12/41

Hello all

Another quick question. Any info on a Bf-109E lost 7 miles North of Cap de la Hève (Le Havre), at 1445 on December 5th 1941? Shot down by Hurricane during Ramrod 14.

Many thanks once again.

Regards

Simon

It's claimed by F/Lt Patrick Joseph Thomas Stephenson 607 Sqn , some source perhaps in Public Record Office Air 50/170, for moment i found nothing to paste in German's loss

Thanks for the reply Dan.

I have a copy of the combat report from Stephenson from the PRO website, and would like if possible to tie in a corresponding Luftwaffe loss.

Yes, i know, i found nothing for this date in Bama docs, nothing in Prien's books.
Prinipal direction for research perhaps about JG 2 and JG 26, but no pert and no real aerial activity for the 5.12.44 and theses fighters groups ...
I dont have read the raport.
Perhaps one claim without real effects ...

I have nothing appropriate for this date either, though a Bf 109E from that late a date would likely be from a training unit based in France.

I guess perhaps he may have meant Bf-109F, rather than Bf-109E? Were Emils out of front-line service by December 1941?
