Part identification Me109
Dear all,
I found this part on a Me 109 crash site. Is anybody knows what's part it can be? Thanks for your help. http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/attach...1&d=1284893582 http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/attach...1&d=1284893600 http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/attach...1&d=1284893627 |
Re: Part identification Me109
Hi YANECK,
my suggestion is part of the opener for the ERLA-hood. The zylindric part might be the hand grip and the small bracket the flange for the lever, if so it should have 49 mm on the longer side. regards Matthias |
Re: Part identification Me109
Hello,
I clean the iron parts. Can you confirm if it a part of the canopy? Thx Yanick http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/attach...1&d=1285962783Attachment 4929Attachment 4930 |
Re: Part identification Me109
Hi!
It is defintely not for the canopy. Having been invlved with numerous Me109 restrations, it actually does not look familar at all. The only thing I can think of, is possibly part of the Battery Tie down straps...but otherwise it is a strange item. Are you sure it is Me109? |
Re: Part identification Me109
Found in a 109 g6 crash area. On The connector cylinder (pict above) there is a logo with 3 letter in XHS. Look like an hydraulic connector.
Thanks for your help Yanick |
Re: Part identification Me109
Hi,
I am very positive it is not German...if it is, it is not Me109, as I do not recognize this as anything. There was not much steel on the Me109, and XHS is not a German code...possible British or US. mike |
Re: Part identification Me109 G6
Hello!
Some news pictures of the Bf109-G6: 1: look like the back of a wing with electrical wire on 2: look like a front of a wing with red color on. Maybe the way to glue the tissus? we can see a print of a matrix on. 3: a molded part in aluminum with like a crown around the cylindric cavities http://picasaweb.google.fr/yaneck77/NouveauDossier3# If you can help me to identify, it will be great ! Thx Yanick |
