5J+RW --> 12./KG 4?
 

Hello,

I have a photo of a He 111 with the code 5J+RW taken at the end of the war. The 'W' would indicate 12. Staffel, wouldn't it? If so, it would be an aircraft of IV. Gruppe. However, IV. Gruppe was disbanded already in summer 1944.

Are there any photos known of late war 5Y+?W Heinkel 111s? Is there any book about the last days of KG 4?
