Luftwaffe buildup in Libya.
 

Does anyone know how long it took the LW to establish itself on Libyan soil after Hitler told Rommel to get his butt over there on February 10, 1941?

I'm interested in knowing how much time Wavell would have had in order to occupy Tripoli (if he had not gone instead to Greece) before the Afrika Korps with its supporting aircraft could have begun to stop him.

Stab Fliegerfuehrer Afrika was not formed until February 24 under Froehlich, but by then 1/JG27 was apparently already operating out of Gazala having arrived on February 19. Presumably the ground crew had flown in on Ju-52s. Were they the first unit?
And, please, when did the first Stukas become effective?
