Manston 1945 + Mosquito Squadron

Hi all,

I am looking for No. or Nos. of Squadron(s) operating with Mosquitoes from RAF Manston in spring-summer 1945.

Hello Pavel

Checking through "RAF Fighter airfields of WW2" by Jonathan Falconer it shows 406 squadron (Mosquito XXX) there from 27/11/44 - 14/06/45 - (Jeffords "RAF Squadrons" shows 29 squadron (Mosquito XXX) moving to Manston on 11/05/45 - 21/09/45) and, out of your period, 23 Squadron (Mosquito II) from 21/08/42 - 13/10/42 and 605 squadron (Mosquito VI) from 07/04/44 - 21/11/44.

I have all Manston-related kills for this period if this helps but am off on my hols for 2 weeks so if I can help, you will have to wait!

Thanks both of you. The mystery was resolved, the Mosquitoes on my photos are from No. 29 Sq.
