No 92 Sq a/c and pilots 1940
 

Hi, can anybody help with trying to identify No 92Sq Spitfire codes during 1940.
I have all the serial numbers, but would like to try add a few more codes to certain a/c, for a project im working on at the moment.

Would anybody happen to know whether any Logbooks survive, from pilots of No92Sq prior, and to the BoB period at the RAF Museum or RAF Historical Branch?

Finally, could anybody confirm whether the publication " The Best Of The Few" is still in print, featuring No92Sq operations 1940?

Any help or pointers gratefully received.

Perhaps somebody could advise me when No92Sq changed their codes from GR- to QJ- ?

I managed to obtain that book via my local library. It wasn't in stock but they ordered it from another library. Worth a try!

92 Sqns ORB for the period you are looking at is online here;

You can always try a Google search with the word Spitfire then the serial number. It's a long shot but I've found it to come up with the goods now and again.
