SGT ALAN JAMES MEREDITH DAVID 242 SQN
Lost on 23rd April 1941 over Thames Estuary? Can anyone tell me exactly what is recorded as I cannot find much at all. Interested in service record, combat reports, and nature of demise. He is mentioned on a gravestone in Leek Cemetery (Staffs) and Runnymede.
Thanks, Clint |

Re: SGT ALAN JAMES MEREDITH DAVID 242 SQN
Hi Alex, thank you very much, but can I ask what FCL vol 1means? I'm new to the site and don't have the depth of knowledge that everyone else has! I only found this site as a result of research carried out having found his name mentioned on a cross in our local churchyard which is around 250 miles from his Hampshire birthplace.....
