German aircraft parts ?

Good morning,

I would be grateful if somebody had an idea as to which type of aircraft these parts may come from.

Likely to be german WWII aircraft, not sure.

Found in south west of france, date of crash unknown.

Thanks to you,

GC

Hi Gilles,

It would be worth letting us know all the groups of numbers shown on the various parts as they may point to specific type of aircraft.

Regards

David

thanks David for your answer,

I shall try to post these tomorrow but honestly, there are not many and they are often difficult to read.

Best regards

Gilles

They dont look very German to me.

The numbers I can see do not appear to be Luftwaffe/RLM related.

However, the remains of the data plate looks VERY much like and RAF/AM Modifications Plate. In fact, I think I can possibly read the word 'MOD' on it in very much the way that it is inscribed in a very similar grid-like box on the standard RAF Mod plate.

My money is on this being an RAF aircraft.

Yes, I would agree with Andy on this. Looking at the plate again it doesn't appear German in layout or letter/number style.
