JU88 marked L1#PL history needed

Hi Guys.
I am new on this forum :)
Is it possible to track down the history of a JU88 marked L1#PL.
I would like to know how this JU88 ended the war.
Best regards
Stengaard

Hi
Allways possible to search, not allways possible to found ...
So NJG 3
You dont'have the wk nummer ?
1- searching in loss datas
2- Searching in Crashed Ennemy Reports, number of Ju 88 was found by allieds on diverses GAF Airfields, by exemple on Alhorn Airfield (diverses ju 88 and L1+ are found, but code ##+## is not allways write ) some wk are given, but we need make correllation ...
3-Searching in diverses books and publications about NJG and unity especially .

Hmm. V.(Z)/LG1 was redesignated I./NJG3 on 1.10.40, which would account for the L1 coding, but surely if it's now in NJG3 it should have been re-coded D5?

Yes, L1 code with NJG3,LG 1, I./St.G.5, III./KG6 briethly ...
so it's more sure to searching with Wk nummer ...

The reason why I am interested in the history of this JU88, is because I have found some LW plain parts, this is one of them:

Seeing the date of 12.3.45 at the bottom of the table (which seems to relate to calibrating the compass and/or autopilot), I'd think that L1+PL was an aircraft of 3./LG 1 but I'm not up on the 886 000 Werk Nummer series — does anyone know which sub-type that was?

The original WNr. is likely 6612, with the prefix 88 added after the Lw started reporting 6 digit WNr. I have neither one in my db. Wher were the parts found?

I think the parts were found in Denmark. There are 3 parts, maybe they are from the same plane ? Here are the last 2, maybe someone here can ID them to be JU88 parts ?
