608 Sqn loss, 17th March 1942?
 
Hi

I've another query.

Can anyone help me the details of a 608 Sqn loss, on the above date. One of the crew was Flight Sgt James Vincent Routledge, 754073, who is commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial.

I found a reference to a FO M.J. Martell on that date and squadron, but nothing else. It was probably a Hudson, based at Wick, Scotland, judging by the date. If I find anything else, I'll post here. Looks like this is one for Ross McNeill

Indeed, Ross has just posted the answer to this over on RAFCommands, where I asked the same question!

Hudson V AM776, missing on Standex Patrol, 17th March 1942. There's also another thread on the same subject over there, which gives the full crew list:
