Hi Brian!

Can you tell me which pilot of N°54 Sqn shot down a Skua of N°806 Sqn on 24.07.40?

Not 54 Squadron - it was 610 Squadron.

Volume I of my Blue-on-Blue series, which includes this incident, should be out before Christmas!

To answer the question it was 'DOGROSE Red 2' Sgt H.H. CHANDLER of No.610 Squadron flying P9503 DW*D who attacked 'three unidentified enemy aircraft' closing to 30 yards of one. They were subsequently wrongly identified as Chance Voughts.
