2/KG 30 Crew

Has anyone got anything on Lt Rudi Reisiger (EP Oct 41), Fw Hans Breithaupt and Fw Herbert Czischke from 2/KG 30?

I wonder if it is the same man as this Breithaupt was a Beobachter as opposed to pilot in 1942. I wonder if the Flugbuch notes if he trained later as a pilot?

Re: 2/KG 30 Crew

Your guess is as good as mine. This one clearly made a career change from KG-30 to NJG-2 perhaps he also changed from beobachter to pilot.

Re: 2/KG 30 Crew

Quite a strange career, he started learning to become a pilot before war begin, flew against the Poles with KG55 as beobachter, then end of 1939 flew for the KG30 with Reisiger, 1942 start new life as ... flug-Schuler, end of 1943 pilot in IV.KG30 then I.KG30 nd ab June 1944 pilot in I.NJG2
