Thank you Evgeny.

Does anyone know the difference between a "Frontflug" and a "Feindflug"? Being a german, it is not obvious to me :o.

According to the "Manual of German Air Force Terminology, Part 1, Administrative & General Terms" compiled by Air Ministry A.1.12:

Frontflug = war flight
Feindflug = flight against the enemy

Thank you , Peter. So a Feindflug is more dangerous and any flight behind the front would be a Frontflig, for example one from base A to base B in an occupied country?

My pleasure... I would say that Feinflug means taking off an looking for the enemy whilst Frontflug is the actual action itself... but your guess is as good as mine... :)

Hello,

By the way Evgeny can you comment these two pictures?

It's not my normal cup of tea but they are quite unusual for me ...

Thanks for your help and explanations.

Franck.

Seems to be Bf 110 E in use by some Zerstörer training unit, the tubes are quite unusual for 110 E.

Hi Pawel,

That's exactly one of the reason I decided to put the link here... Thought I've seen one Dragon Bf110 plastic modell being sold with those devices, hence it may be unusual just for who don't know this installation, like me.

The second reason being, of course, the number and letter on nose...

Franck.
