Great photos Marc, thanks for sharing.

BTW, does anyone of you know if there is a former Do 335 pilot still alive?

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Cheers, Horst

This is Dornier Do 335 V14 RP + UQ, prototype of the B-2 heavy fighter, under repair after the war in a French facility at Courbevoie or Bretigny.
When the ejector seat was refitted during repair, it was activated incidentally and penetrated the roof without causing any victims.
The wing panels in the foreground are also from a Do 335, recognizable by the sharp leading edges towards the wingroots.

Regards

Roland

And here is the Do 335 M14 before it was brought to France.

Hi Guys

Nice shots, true enough.
Can anyone ID the aircraft behind the 335 on the production line?

Hi there Gang, you're all welcome, thanks for your interesting additions.

As a bonus, an excellent Youtube film made with exceptionally interesting German films; Do 335 in flight, on the proving bench, gear retraction testing, ejection seat operation, Do 335 models ditching, etc...
