I'm looking for some information of the Vickers Wellington Mk.IC (DV441) of the 304 squadron (NZ-Q)thats crasht on the 26st of June 1942 (6:00 hour) in to the IJsselmeer. The crewmembers were:


Dydziul, M.J.
Kamyszek, T.
Kramin, J.
Kuc, H.
Talach, N.
Wojtas, J.

First i want to now who shot the plain down. I think it was one of the nightfighters from the II/NJG2 stationed @ Fliegerhorst Leeuwarden.

I hope somebody knows ...

Hello ,
The ORB from N° 304 squadron gives the dat as 24 june and not 26.
1942-06-24

Seven crews, captained by Sgt. JONSKI, F/O KONARZEWSKI, Sgt. KUC, Sgt. GOLEBIOWSKI, F/O KUCHARSKI, Sgt. SICINSKI, Sgt. OMIELJASZKO, operating from BIRCHAM NEWTON (DOCKING) took part in the 1,000-bomber raid on BREMEN. All returned safely with the exception of Sgt. KUC’S crew in aircraft DV441, of which no news was received.

That’s strange. Because the 1000-bomber raid on Bremen took place during the night of 25/26 June 1942. Look at the bombercommand diary.....
