11.10.40 Ju 88 (7A+NH) Info required
 

Hi to all,

Can anyone supply us with further information regarding the loss of Ju 88 (7A+NH) of Major. Gerlach & crew who failed to return from a reconnaissance sortie on the 11.10.40?

Any help always greatly appreciated!

1940-10-11, 1.(F)/121, Ju 88A-5, 880414, 7A+NH, Schottland, Unbekannt. Bruch 100 %.
F Uffz Koltermann, Kurt, vermißt
B Major Gerlach, Wilhelm, vermißt
BF Gefr Eha, Hermann, vermißt
BS Uffz Mehle, Kurt, vermißt

P.S. I don't know, if it is correct or not, but I use prefix "88" for two reasons: this way I can sort my database correctly and also differentiate individual aircraft, when they have the same last four digits. Example: (88)2521 was destroyed in 1942-10-24 and (14)2521 in 1943-12-28. Both are in GQM list with WNr. 2521.
