Agreed. Very nice. BTW - The first 109 photo, which has been published before, is the Bf 109F-2 of 6./JG 54 Stkp. Franz Eckerle during the late summer of 1941. Compare the camo to some of the other e-Bay offerings of this same machine -

Yes, it was published before: see book JG 54 Grünherzjäger by H.E. Bob, page 120. Bf 109 F-2 of II./JG 54 lined up and hidden in a forest near Sarudinje/Russia.

Thank you Thenelm and Horst for your inputs. Much appreciate. Sure it's Eckerle plane; another bad eBay pictures of his plane!.. It seems that each time one photographer took him there was a problem with the camera or the film.

Some of the e-Bay photos aren't necessarily bad, just not scanned very well or at low-resolution by the sellers. There is a nice shot of the tail, including the WNr. 9588, and decorated rudder in the Ries 'Rudder Markings' book.

I was just "talking" about Eckerle's plane available on eBay as "downlable" pictures. For the rest I have no book home!!!!!

Hi Pilot,

At last one member got time to look these pictures! Unit emblem is in progress of course... I'm more preocupated by the "White 4": If this one is finished we have a 4./JG26 plane, not a 8./ one.
So the question is (for me) Mr. Adamson was adopted by 4°Staffel before or after the 8°Staffel? Camo doesn't match with after...

There is another quite interesting one in this album:
The ditched Bf109E-1: On the second picture we can see flags under the canopy at "Pinger's way": One of his earlier plane or someone else plane? Hence when and where?
