Berlin War Cemetery - Photos needed
 

An inquiry I sent to the CWG Commission:

I have been provided by the family, a copy of the MREU report dated Mch 47 regarding the investigation around the loss of his aircraft and the relocation of graves from Doberitz to the Berlin War Cemetery.

This report makes the recommendation on the labelling of the graves,
Viz: 1.G.1 (King),
1.G.2 (Rose),
1.G.3 (Stewart),
1.A.2. (Mcdonald),
1.A.3 (Mitchell),
1.A.4 (Anderson) and
1.A.5 (Harvey).

Graves 1.G.2 (Rose), 1.A.3 (Mitchell), 1.A.4 (Anderson) and 1.A.5 (Harvey). do not appear under your search. Could you tell me who is listed as being interred in the above graves and, if known, why the MREU recommendation was not followed. Regards Robin Riley 156 Squadron RAF - 8 Group Pathfinder Force

Well the CWG are are great organisation but not the quickest in replying. Also as I am asking about a grave location as opposed to a person, may not reply at all?

Could someone supply some pics of these locations. I am especially interested in Rose, so a photo spanning G1 - G3 would be great.
