Info search: Uffz. Benedikt Bloier + 10.08.42

Hello to all,

We are currently searching for the loss details of Luftwaffe pilot Uffz. Benedikt Bloier who was killed on the 10th August 1942. We would like to create a page of Remembrance for Benedikt but we lack further information.

10 August 1942: He 111 H-5 (W.Nr. 3775) of IV./KG 55 flown by Unteroffizier Benedikt Bloier (F), Unteroffizier Reinhold Karg (B) and Unteroffizier Franz Föltzel (Bf), pilot killed, other two crewmen injured, crash on take-off due to operational error at Illeshiem, 90%

One correction to the information above.

This crew was part of 10./KG53 (IV Gruppe) Not KG55
