Aaaah,

Thank you very much Andreas.
But for me it's a G-6 produced by Me.Ag. Regensburg in DS+SA/SS batch.

Since you gave a name and a unit The Kracker list concerning Lt. Völmle, Dieter; Adj. III./JG26 is giving the following info:
WIA 29 July, 1943 in "Blue 2" by B-17 return fire 20 km NE of Kiel, , no AC disposition given. WIA a 2nd time, 18 July, 1944 during aerial combat in "White 19" with a P-47 of 373FG N of Dreux. WIFA a 3rd time, 28 August, 1944 when his "Black 9" engine failed and he was injured when he bailed out. Wounded a 4th time on 4 December, 1944, when his Bf 109K-4 Werk # 330413 "Black 8" was hit by AA fire and was severely damaged. He made a force landing near Zülpich.

And Blue 2 being a Bf109G-6, WNr.13153. Same date but not exactly the same plane

Aaaaaah... Effectively!

I did check one, not the second! OK thank you very much you three Andreas, Thenelm & Rasmussen.
I know what I have to change NOW!

But where did I load that picture?? One USAF dedicated site for sure... If I remember well that part was found in another place than the one given by Andreas. I did check for the internet site (P-47 one?) yesterday but my memory failed.

Regards, Franck.

Ok Stig,

Whatever, my thread asked for a WNr.16453 and I got good answers and comments. Only the attached picture is not at the right place...
I'm going to open another thread.

Thanks Stig.

Warm regards, Franck.
