A stunning video of the Lake Bourget Fw 58
http://www.buscatube.com/videos-1/ge...e-wreck-france
Quite impressive how a canevas covered "Leukoplast Bomber" survives to this day under 110 m of fresh water in the Lac du Bourget, France (74). It is a FW 58 C, W.Nr. 3652 "TD+QE", which crashed in the lake 30 March 1944, due to pilot error: http://www.cpalb.fr/avion.php Cheers Marc |

A nice video. TD+QE was c/n 3652 but other sources have this wreck as TD+QF c/n 3653. I looked at the video closely but saw no c/n or stkz Can anyone confirm whether this was 3652 or 3 please Regards Tony |

Wow remarkable video!
Amazing to see how much of the aircraft is in place after all these years. Thanks for posting. Jeremy |
