Hi Franck, nice pictures.

The seller tells us that there is 4 British Kills and 1 French one.
I dont have a loss for W.Nr 4864, but have several other 48** numbered W.Nr for JG2! Can anybody id this one?

Best regs,
Steve.

Hi there,

following the text provided by the seller: "4 RAF & one French".
Time of the picture? Don't know but BoB for sure.
Place?
I have a first candidate: Ofw. Hans Klee.
Following the Kracker list, we have that:
"KIC 14 March, 1941 (Magnus). One known victory, his 1st, a Hawk-75A west southwest of Charleville, 15 May, 1940. His 2nd, a Spitfire over the Isle of Wight on 24 August, 1940. His 3rd, a Hurricane at Themsemündung on 5 September, 1940. His 4th, a Spitfire at the Thames Estuary on 7 September, 1940. His 5th, a Herford 20 km NE of Fe'camp on 9 October, 1940. His 6th, a Spitfire at Portsmouth on 15 November, 1940."

... to be continued.

Cheers, Franck.

Thanks very much John,

This is a good thing!
I thought that this plane was build by Arado; Looking at the picture I see a "Bf109E-4" but I have only E-1/B, E-7 & E-8 in the concerned batch... Something more to complete &/or check... Check anyway.

Merry Christmas!!

according to a mail received this afternoon, Mr. Erik Mombeeck agree with my guess: Ofw. Hans Klee. Hence 9 October 1940, and after... place must be Oye-Plage or Le Havre-Octeville.

Cheers, Franck.

A very Merry Xmas to you Franck,
interesting to hear about the link to Hans Klee with W.Nr 4864.
Would be even better if we could find the missing a/c code, " Weiss ? " +
I wonder if Mr Mombeek could help?

Best regs,
Steve.
