njg100-book

hi,

a friend told me, that i can find something about the last days of njg 100 in this book:

Fischer, August. Bis der Wind umsprang; das Fazit eines Flugkapitans aus zwei Jahrzehnten Fliegerei in Frieden und Krieg; Balve: Englebert, 1961 324 p.
is this correct? does anybody has this book or knows where i can find something about the njg 100 in 1945?

all the best

Hello Jim,

i have the book but havent read it till now.
Last night i took it out the shelf and was browsing through the pages.
It is, like many books from this periode, writen like a novell.
But it seems the autor has used original (real) names.
Not to many data like Werknummern, Stammkenzeichen or taktische Kennzeichen if You are after that.
What are You looking for ??

Kind regards

Norbert Bichler

Hi,

I'm looking for some info about Hans "Karl" Maisch who served in 2.NJG100 in 1944. He was shot down a few russian and allied aircrafts over south Poland.
Can you check if there is something about him in this book?

Dominik
