I'm uncertain if this information about the following tail numbers will be of any help.

351st Bomb Group, 510th Bomb Squadron
31 DEC 1943 crash landed due to battle damage on the coast of Burnham-on-Sea.
Salvaged on 03 JAN 1944.

#42-30606: B-17F-110-BO "EL DIABLO"
306th Bomb Group, 367 Bomb Squadron.
Lost 02 JAN 1944; MACR 1681.

Hi
Many thanks for the info,
3093 looks good, as the group tail code matches.

Hi
thanks for the reply, but I think from the diary/log this B-17 was circa july '43.
so possibly the b-17 N-NV before 44-6144

Hi
Many thanks for the info on 5916.
so this probably means that 230606 RD-H was also circa 7 july 43, as it is the adjacent entry in the log.
cheers
Jerry
