Bomber Command Diaries

I am sure everyone is familiar with the books by Roger Freeman detailing the 8th AF and their day to day operations.

My question is, has anyone ever undertaken anything similar for Bomber Command? If so, can anyone suggest a good reference so as to educate themselves about their day to day operations and the raids they performed?

Mark,

I am not familiar with that book of Freeman about the 8th AF, however I do have the "reference" about the Bomber Commander, which is ( and I fully recommend it ):
The Bomber Command War Diaries: An Operational Reference Book, 1939-45 by Middlebrook and Chris Everitt.

Picked up my copy of this exhaustively detailed and comprehensively researched book, and have to say it is excellent and it compliments Theo Boitens 'Nachjagd War Diaries' very well indeed. Highly recommended.

Regards Richard.
