yet another b-17 query

Hi All,
one more b-17, any suggestions welcome.

658 , 'L in a triangle'
and aircraft i/d letter M, circa april 44,

adjacent entries in log

JU-88A-6 5441

Oxford R6335

Triangle L is 381st BG.
I can't find any B - 17 with # 658 assigned to 381st BG.
?????
