A fallen German plane at ERCOURT (Somme)
 

A witness says to me: “A death at the edge of the road, the parachute of the German did not open. ” I seek information on an plane and his crew, probably a Ju88 fallen the night at Ercourt on July 5, 1944. The deceased is Uffz. Karl CHUS.

1944-07-05, 6./NJG 2, Ju 88G-1, 710123, Bei Ercourt, Absturz um 00.26 Uhr infolge Nachtjägerbeschuß. Besatzung mit Fallschirm abgesprungen. Bruch 100 %.
