Michal, can you tell us the source of these werknummers? There are at least a high number of Fw 190's and Bf 109's among them.

Hi

I made a quick search in my records and came up with these:

WNr 150060 could be this one:
http://www.ahs.no/ref_db/lw_loss_pub...?lossid=102770

WNr 331472 is most likely this one:
http://www.ahs.no/ref_db/lw_loss_pub...?lossid=101273

WNr 332340 should be this one:
http://www.ahs.no/ref_db/lw_loss_pub...?lossid=101757

WNr 732329 is most probably this one:
http://www.ahs.no/ref_db/lw_loss_pub...?lossid=102966

WNr 732365 is most probably this one:
http://www.ahs.no/ref_db/lw_loss_pub...?lossid=102965

Hope this is of some help.

I haven't had time to check other records as the LFl 6 loss lists yet

Regards,
Andreas

Re: Crashed plane on territory of Czechoslovakia

Hallo,

thank all for help. The source is Národní archiv Praha (National Archive Prague), fond Říšského protektora (Reichsprotektoramt file), Befehlshaber der Ordnungspolizei Ia (BdO Ia), Box 50, 83, 1212, Tages- und Morgenmeldungen May 1944 - February 1945.

In this fond are reports of local police station to BdO Ia Prag about crashes of planes (and other security things, of course) day by day. It is not such complete as Verlustmeldungen. The short descriptions of crash usually contains of date, time and place of crash, type of aircraft is maybe in three third of cases, other things as name of pilot, name of unit, WNr. are rear; in lot of cases there are Stammkennzeichen. We should know that this reports were made by local policemen and not Luftwaffen Experten, so there is lot of faults. But basically there is at least time and place of crash. The whole file is about 400 crashes plus. Some months (for example as December 44 is not complete as an other ones).

Best and once again thank you

Michal

Hi, Michal

This source would be interested to the 1944 project (description later when I get the time).

Could You pls inform us of the availability of these documents, is it for example possible to buy copies from the archive?

Regards,
Andreas

Re: Crashed plane on territory of Czechoslovakia

Andreas,

Yes, it is possible to obtain copies. Only you should know what Number of sheet do you want. Unfortunatelly they have not so detailed numbering of papers, so you are able to read, read and read to find out something. But yes, it is possible I will give you catalogue numbers of those documents which I have already overwritten. If you have interest, please, send me private message.

Best

Michal,

It would be much easier to find matching losses if you would list the dates and locations, too.
Do you know if Rumanian and Hungarian airplanes (German types, of course) were also included in the list?

Re: Crashed plane on territory of Czechoslovakia

Hallo Bernád,

there is no evidence of "nationality" of planes except some American and one Soviet planes. So, I could not to say you yes or no. But I think Hungarian maybe and I believe Romanian in any case. But only believe. If you know about some Hungarian planes which could crashed on territory of Czechoslovakia, send me date and approximately time and I will search my database.

I have tried to search location of crash of Bf-110 (Lájos Göcsei, István Loys, 6./NJG 102 Ohlau) which sent a radio message from area SW of Pardubice on Dec 5 1944 during night flight but without succes. I have in my databes only one plane crashed nearby Pardubice on that day but around 14 o´clock. On Dec 6 1944 there is an other crashed plane nearby Pardubice but it seems to be one-seat plane.

It seems that this plane did not crash on territory of Protektorat Böhmen-Mähren but my files could be incomplete as well.

Best

Michal
