Units engaging RAF Mustang IIIs in Nancy-Strasbourg area?

19 and 65 Squadrons engaged ME109s around 1730. Anyone know what gruppe was involved?

Ltn. Karlheinz Kapp of 4/JG27 filed a claim for a P51 on this date; no data for time of engagement or location. Can anyone clarify whether I or II/JG27 actions on this date?
