Hello,

Bf 110E-2 W.Nr. 2542 (II./ZG 1) was presumably lost on September 17, 1942 somewhere over Russia. I would like to ask about the details of this loss (location, crew).

Do you have any idea, what is the original (Russian) name of Ischerskaja? In which part of Russia is it?

It is in Chechnya, close to administrative border with Dagestan. In Russian "Ищерская".

The ramming attack was done by an I-153 of 738 IAP according to this site http://aeroram.ru/win/m/matveev_ip.htm.
