Claims over Northumberland 3rd March 1944

Hi all,

Does anyone have any shoot down/damage claims for 3rd March 1944 over Northumberland?

I am invesitgating a possible friendly fire incident.

I don't have the time of the crash to hand so claims on, and either side of the 3rd March 1944 would help.

I have ground witness reports that machine gun fire was heard before the crash of an allied aircraft in Northumberland. The aircraft in question crashed on 3rd.

I am afraid that according to John Foreman's Fighter Command War Diaries, there is nothing 2-4 Mar 44
