Fritz Rumpelhardt passed away

Hello,

On 20th January 2011, Friedrich "Fritz" Rumpelhardt - the last living crewmember of the Schnaufer-crew - passed away.
May he rest in peace.

I'm really sorry to hear that Wim, I remember when we met 2 years ago you said that his health was declining but it's the loss of yet another of the brave men of that era who fought on both sides, and of such a significant crew. May he rest in peace.
