Joseph RISS (former GC II/6)

Former Col. (e.r.) Joseph RISS passed away on the 20th January 2011, aged 94.
I had the pleasure to meet him and his warmful family just two months ago where we made an interview of him in La Motte-Servolex (Savoie).
It seems he was the last surviving member of the GC II/6 during the May 1940 campaign.
He crash-landed his Morane 406 on the 13rd May 1940 near Haut-le-Wastia (Belgium), not far from the nice museum remembering the fightings surrounding the crossing of the Meuse river by the Germans on May 1940.
