Luftwaffe twin-engined plane crashed in Italy on 9 July 1941
Hello,
I amlooking for information regarding a Luftwaffe twin-engined transport aircraft went down on 9 July 1941, at 5:00 PM hours, in the Apennines SW of Bologna, due to mechanical failure. It seems the plane took off from Muenchen to an airfield in Sicily. According to some eyewitnesses the French-made plane was largely constructed by plywood. All the crew members died in the crash. They were: Uffz. Ernst Weber (b. 3 Apr. 1915) and Uffz. Werner Stohn (b. 10 May 1920). Could someone help me to find more info about this plane? Many thanks in advance. Carlo |
