2 sections of 609 Sqn claimed 2 x Ju 88 in the air (one being from 11/KG 2), a Ju 88 on the ground and a Bf 110 destroyed and another damaged. A Do 217 of 10/KG 2 was badly damaged at Melun (the Typhoon pilots report seeing Do 217s and the Bf 110s south of Soissons which would match) whilst they reported shooting down a Ju 88 coming into land at an airfield in the Laon/Soissons area. Can anyone identify the Bf 110s and the 'Ju 88 coming into land'?
