Information Concerning Oberfeldwebel Josef Konig - 05.06.1944
 

Hi,

Can anyone provide information on the loss of Josef Konig on the 5th June 1944.

He was in a recon squadron and died in an air battle on the Russian front.

So is the KTB Gen.d.Lw.b.Ob.d.M. available from the German Archives at Koblenz? Do you have a specific document reference? Only asking because, like a good number of others here, I'm building a db of Lw losses. Also, the code 'HA+DT' doesn't seem to fit with other Do 24 information. Not questioning you, but would be interested in other comments as to this code. Is this SKZ part of a previously undocumented WNr. block?
