Need location from handwritten info on back of this photo of He111 of 3./LG1 during WC
Hello,
Can anyone interpret the location on the back of this photo: (St. Amond??, northern France). Questions about this He111 have appeared on this board before: it is L1+EL of 3./LG1, down in May-June, 1940. The exact incident to which this pertains, however, is still not clearly confirmed. Confirming the location would be a big help. If this is St Amond, Northern France, where exactly is this forced-landing, and can anyone connect it to a known Luftwaffe He111 loss? I'd like to settle this once and for all. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...#ht_1676wt_926 Thanx, |

Hi Larry,
I mind the location is Saint-Amand les Eaux in Pas de calais. No Saint Amond in north of France. Cordialement, Jean-Paul |
