17/03 - Bf109s on eBay

Hi there,

1. http://cgi.ebay.de/FLUGZEUG-BF-109-E...item45f96ac8c6
Almost the same picture than the one in Prien, JFV Teil 4.I, page 285.
2. http://cgi.ebay.de/KLASSE-FOTO-JAGDF...item33660da822
Two Bf109G-2 can match (and a G-1/R2) ..+SZ.
3. http://cgi.ebay.com/WW2-Orig-Photo-A...item45f96033ce
4. http://cgi.ebay.de/Foto-Jagd-Flugzeu...item43a566b114
5. http://cgi.ebay.de/Orig-Foto-Kamerad...item2eb3e4bb75
6. http://cgi.ebay.de/Foto-Flugzeug-ME1...item20b7ddafbc
The new picture and the one published last week: 7. http://cgi.ebay.de/Foto-Flugzeug-Sta...item20b7cfbb71

The old picture from last week: 8. http://cgi.ebay.de/Foto-Flugzeug-ME1...item20b7cf9997 with that KERVOLINE writings and a new one from the same seller (Not a Bf109)
9. http://cgi.ebay.de/Foto-Flugzeug-fra...item20b7ddada9
So: we can see the same hangar in the background. Confirmation with that MS.406 - Nice Vichy Markings - we are in France. Does that plane helps to recognise the place? Hence Bf109s unit we are looking for?? Any suggestion?

Regards, have a nice day!

Franck.

Yes Rémi,

This "thing" is a spanish Buchon repainted "bwanabwana" way; that's not the first time pictures of this plane are on eBay; Don't expect me to put it here... At least for one good reason: I have nothing to say about it !!!

Tschüss, franck.

Hi Rémi

Seeing that you provide excellent information here for the benefit of the group, it seems a shame that some can't be bothered to take 5 minutes out of their day to try and answer your query...

For those here who may, like you, be interested to know more about this example, with the aid of some members on the FlyPast forum here this photo (and a selection of others) shows a post-war Hispano Aviación HA-1109-K1L on display at Luftwaffenmuseum Uetersen in the late 1960's/early 1970's. This is the same example which was converted to Bf109G-2 using a recovered DB engine and is now on display at Luftwaffen Museum Gatow. The two photos below show it on display:

Re: 17/03 - Bf109s on eBay

Bonjour Rémi,

You're welcome...
As I said I've nothing to say about that plane (Hispano Buchon).
I said once (Weeks ago)- and too - I'm not interesting about even Bf109s after their ultimate use in whatever air forces.
Last, but not least (?), I'm sorry for who is interesting in these further developments, but take note that my little "chronicle " is entitled Bf109s on eBay.

Doesn't mean I'm not able to put other stuff if I see some possible interest.

... Of course, don't worry, you can be sure that if by any chance - and God's help - we, one day, have a true Buchon under Spanish markings in contemporary unit I will post it ... :).

If not, Falcon site is full of Buchon and Avia and museum machines.

Regards, Franck.

Bf 109 #1 Prien says 2./JG 26, auction says JG 2.

Not seen a Bf 109 in JG 26 wth those kind of nose markings plus no schlargeter shield fuselage unit markings....... I would favour JG 2.

Any thoughts?

Hello Chris,

In an another book/source the caption says E.Gr. 210!
I don't know the book title; for the source, ask Matthew. Well ... I'm on my way to ask him. :p.

The photo from this auction:
http://cgi.ebay.de/Orig-Foto-Kamerad...item2eb3e9ee01

Is this one:
http://www.bf-109.de/web.php?lang=en...be&flugzeug=72

Here are more photos from the same position, but as colour photos:
http://old.messerschmitt-bf109.de/ga...1109%20Tripala

The seller don't know this and sell it as a WWII picture. Bad!

For No.3... I remember some photos from Jumo 109s with french fake markings for propaganda film works. I think there was an article in the german Jet&Prop some years ago.
