German ace Heinz Baer - 15 August 1940?

Heinz Baer, the German ace, was highly active during the Battle of Britain, claiming a number of victories and being rescued twice from the Channel.

Did Baer fly on 15 August, “Eagle Day”?

Could anyone with access to German-language sources on Baer please check and see if they mention 15 August?

There is no explicit reference in English-language sources to him flying on that day. He did not claim any victories.

Thanks,
David Isby

Are you talking about 15 August 1940, or "Adler Tag" (Eagle Day) which was 13 August 1940.

You seem to be getting a bit muddled.

Hello,

Does anyone know if the FB for Heinz Bär exists for the 1939-40 period of time. I'd sure like to know about it if it does.

Regards,
