You're the most welcome Pilot,
In fact it's my other interest in LW airplanes... But not a lot as you know.

@All - Mölders picture: 3./JG 53, I presume.

Cheers, Franck.

Hi all,

The 2nd set of Me262 pictures show Ofw F Gentzsch of 7./KG(J)54 in Neuburg, March 1945. These 2 pictures were also published in Radtke's book on KG54 on page 239.

I've contacted the seller & these picture are reprints of the 70's, not originals.

Regards,
Rudi.

Re: 28/03 - Me 262 + Mölders on Delcampe & One Picture.

Me 262 #1 is "White 9" W.Nr. 111617 from 10./EJG 2, eventually formerly from Kdo. Nowotny, too. Operating from the Autobahn strip in Hofolding forest south of Munich, it was destroyed by handgrenades placed in the jet intakes and ended on the scrap heap of Brunnthal airfield
Me 262 #2 is "White 1" from JV44, a veteran jet formerly with EJG 2 and Kommando Novotny. Featured the wooden tail unit with sharp-eged blotches. Ended its days as school plane (letter "white S" on tail) assigned to JV 44. Being transferred from Salzburg-Maxglan a/f to Innsbruck, it landed at the Innsbruck-Reichenau main civil airfield instead of Innsbruck-Hötting, the runway of which being too short for jets. Being trapped, the Me 262 was abandoned.

Regards

Roland
