Bf 109K-4, WNr.330204
 

Hi gents,

I need some comments concerning that plane.
9./JG 77, Weisse 1, flown by Menzel in November 1944.
11./JG 77, Weisse 13, flown by Abendroth in January 1945.

1/ Did Menzel take another plane on eastern front, later?... Did they had enough plane left at that very moment to get another one??
2/ Shot down on 1 of January 1945. Abendroth is said "bailed out'! If I believe the picture published in Manrho & Putz (Just a source, I don't have it) I can't imagine the guy did bail out.. The plane is broken, but not THAT broken;
The picture is said to have been taken in Dortmund ... the plane being shot down in Belgium, by German FLAK Navy (Kracker archives) What a mess and confusion !!

Last, the Kracker archive is giving no one WNr. for both planes/pilots...
