Hi, all there !

Does anybody have a photo of a Ju188-E1 of Kampfgeschwader 6 (KG6)
dating from November or December 1943 ?
Maybe even at I.Gruppe air base Chievres/BE?

Hi FrankieS,
I had hoped to be able to help you with a photo from the book on KG 6. But, while they show several 188As, they show no 188Es whatsoever. The book on the unit is: "Wir flogen gen Westen" by Jan Horn (2004).

Think I have one of an a/c shot down , KG6 may 44, if it's any interest mail me at jezbrew@yahoo.com, it shows a lot of the camo.

Hi Chris !
We were in contact several times before
because of some ZG1 losses and Luftwaffe crew
3E+EH (lost 02.12.1943)

I would like to see some photos of Ju188's of I./KG6 (Chievres)
from period November to December 1943 if possible.
(showing the aircraft of the point in time when my uncle was lost).

And also photos of Chievres Air Base of these months (11 to 12/1943).

Do you have any?

There was just such a photo on Ebay some time ago. (It was sold for the insame price of 196 Euros..) See http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...tem=6176261080

Maybe somebody here has copied the photo on his computer or you can find out through the seller who the new owner is. Photo was very nice, showing a frontal view of a Ju 188 of KG6 in squiggle camouflage at a Belgian airfield (Chievres?) in October 1943.
